Established in 1967, this is one of the oldest societies in the province. It houses Edmonton's only Nav Grah Shrine.

Recently, one family sponsored a lunch at the temple in memory of their dad who passed away. They were very happy with the support from all the volunteers. The experience was amazing. The family thanked the volunteers for their hard work every weekend and for helping with the lunch.

The temple has plenty of parking space and is very spacious compared to other Hindu temples in the city. It is always well maintained by the priests and volunteers. Many visitors say it is a perfect place for worship.
People feel thankful and blessed to have this temple in Fort McMurray. They enjoy having darshan of many gods including Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha, Ayyappa, Navagraha, Hanuman and others. The priest is very kind and performs the pooja with great care.
